Regional instead of travelling the world!
Most of our glass bottles come from glassworks in the Upper Franconia / Southern Thuringia region. Some bottles also come from EU countries. None of the bottles are produced outside the EU. The transport route of your bottle from production to finishing to commissioning is kept to an absolute minimum and in most cases does not exceed 50 kilometres.
Our caps come exclusively from regional production. Both our additive-manufactured screw caps made from sustainable wood and our swing tops with high-quality porcelain lids are produced, processed and finished within a radius of approx. 20 kilometres around Schauberg.
Print data & process– How to get your design perfectly onto the bottle!
Here you will find all the information you need on file formats, printing processes and the most important dos and don’ts. And if you still have any questions: We are happy to help!
We prefer PDF/x4, .eps or .ai files. These formats guarantee the best quality for printing your customised designs.
We use the Pantone colour system for screen printing. Please create your print data accordingly to avoid colour deviations.
Resolution: At least 600 dpi for razor-sharp print results.font size: At least 4 pt, so that texts are easy to read.line width: At least 0.3 mm, to clearly display fine lines.
Our glass bottles are dishwasher safe. For cleaning by hand, we recommend using a standard dishwashing detergent and a cleaning brush. Please rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water and make sure that no detergent residue remains in the bottle after rinsing.
Our swing tops are dishwasher safe. For cleaning by hand, we recommend using a standard dishwashing detergent and a cleaning brush.
Our wooden caps are not dishwasher-safe and must be cleaned by hand. Please note that wood is a natural material that can become discoloured after long-term use and can easily become deformed when wet. After drying, the wooden closure returns to its original shape and closes again without leaking. The sealing disc made of food-safe plastic is firmly attached to the closure during production and can be cleaned together with it. It should be inspected for damage after the cleaning process to prevent water from entering between the seal and the closure.
Yes, you can have our closures individually printed or engraved.
Order process & delivery
After checking your data, we create a dimension sheet of your design for approval. We will send this to you for checking before printing begins. We will only start production after your approval.
We usually print your order within a maximum of 4 weeks after print approval. The delivery time depends, among other things, on the quantity and number of colours and finishing processes used.
As we print the bottles especially for you, we are unfortunately unable to take back printed goods. This is why we need your explicit print approval at the end of the configuration process and ask you to check and confirm the print data and print status several times. Of course, we will not leave you alone during the entire process. If you have any questions or doubts, please feel free to contact us directly at Info@flaschenfreunde.de.
We offer the following payment options: Invoice or PayPal. With PayPal, the total amount must be paid in advance.
As we work with a minimum order quantity of 50 bottles, our products are dispatched by a freight shipping company. The costs vary depending on the number of pallets to be shipped and the weight of the respective consignment.
